Weather in margarita?

we are going on holiday to margarita for the first 2 weeks in july. i know its the rainy season but has anyone been there or in that region during this period?....just how rainy can we expect it to be?

I've been, though not in July, but a friend went last July, expecting the worst, but it was actually hot and mainly sunny.  There were some cloudy days, and a couple of days with rain, in their fortnight, but overall was pretty good.  It's pot luck, and I was in the caribbean last summer, and again got a good time.

I went in July and the weather was good. A couple of heavy showers but it was warm rain, and the area soon dried. Take a high factor sun cream because it gets really hot.
