Weather in rome, italy in february?

i'm gong to rome in february and am wondering what the weather is like so i'll know how to pack.

  1. Hi! I'm Italian living in Milan and often travelling to Rome for job reasons. Normaly in february (expecially in the first half) it's cold (you can also find snow sometimes). Be prepared to have a temperature between -3 C° and 10 C° (= 26.6 F° and 50 F°).

    I think you should chose a multilayer apparel, woolen sweaters (not too warm) and a good jacket. Better if you check the temeperature and meteo before leaving.

    And, if something unexpected happens, you can always buy something to wear in Rome (wich is a grate place for shopping ;) )

  2. Rome is a bit warmer than Milan, but avoid short sleeves anyway. Daytime the temperature is about 10 celsius degrees; during the night it sinks to 2 or 3 degrees. It normally doesn't rain much.
