Thinking of flying from Sydney to Surfers Paradise next week.

Wanna go to the water parks, but im wondering what the weathers going to be like at this time of year.

I know they heat the water at the parks, but what about when you're just running around in your bathers??

Also, are the beaches warm at this time of year?

Hows this winters weather been so far?

Thanks for any help =)

  1. I'm looking out my door which is wide open to the blue sky on the Gold Coast. i can't see a cloud anywhere at the moment and the forecast is good but a bit of cloud comming apparently Mondays temperature is for 21 The nights are a bit nippy. The beaches are beautiful and there is a few swimmers going in. Once your in it's lovely just keep your towel handy for throwing over your shoulders as we do get a breeze sometimes . You'll love it ,come on up.

  2. It's in Queensland, so, beautiful one day, perfect the next. On a typical winter's day, you will find that the daytime temp can still be around 24'C, while the early morning could be around 7-9'C.

Winter is a time to wear layers of clothing, a little more early am and at night, and a whole lot less during the day...a t shirt and long shorts or light jeans would be perfect, though we can get cold winds at times, so bring a jacket. As for the water parks, my husband drives past them every day and says they are still packed... can't be too cold!

    Above all, have fun!!

  3. It's a perfect day today on the Gold Coast and it's been that way for the past couple of weeks so I'd expect it will stay that way.

Anyway, the water is warm and it'll probably be an alright day so it shouldn't be to cold.

  4. The water will be very cool.... the days are warm.... crowds will be minimal..  no rain predicted...  so go.
