Weather is wierd here on long island , fire island NY ( 5/22/08)?

Question

I had a field trip from school at the best place!!!! first it was cloudy. i was in sunken forest at the time when Smithtown longisland wich where my school is, is getting a thunderstorm. but the luck wasnt on my side. well we were laughing cozz they get the bad weather ( boy was i wrong) we went out of sunken forest ( Fire island) we were in the middle of know where@! then out of know where the storm comes too fire island !!!! so were running for our lives ( Fire islands thunder storms are louder cozz were below sea level) so when the thunder rumbles its soo loud but now were screaming then i was screaming louder cozz the thunder storm became a hail storm so the hail was a size of a golf ball , it hurted badly sooo we ran a mile back too our ferry to go home so im al brused up :( well atleast we were inside :) Smithtown rocks!!! & so Fire island ( with no storms)

It is weird everywhere at some time and more noticeable when you have an event planned or so it may seem anyway.

hi there! It's real bad here in london in the UK! It's like it's the end of the world! I'm quite scared..i hope all is not so bad..and that no one gets hurt or ends up dead as a result of this brutal storm! Enjoy yourself!
