Weather patterns in the northeast USA..........?

Question

If you live in the Northeast USA, is your weather unusually cold and rainy the past few days? It is June 18th here in western NYS, and we are shivering with 53 degrees at noon, and lots of rain. Will it blight the tomatoes and other crops?

Yeah, well I just spent the day inside my refrigerator to avoid the 100 degrees outside and it was 40 degrees in there!  Of course it wasn't raining, but the tomatoes looked fine.  So did the milk, juice, butter, and everything else.

i live in NY. about 20 mins outside NYC...and its been warm during the day...usually sunny and 85+ degrees but at night bad thunder and lightning storms
