Weatherin Lanzarote?

Hi going to Lanzarote on Thursday been on a few websites for the weather and they vary alot. Has anyone been here or come back from here that could tell me what the weather is like in July. x xx

I went a few years ago and its pretty windy, (as its an island facing the bare ocean). But its also quite warm (about 26oC).

Quite pleasant and there is lots of character to the island. Although many of the beaches have dark sand Playa de Papagayo is stunning, but unfortunately you have to pay. Playa de Famara is also very beautiful.
