Web Design question?

Hi

REgarding SEO.

We all know that Google love changes to websites. So, my question is this:

When making changes to the website, is it better to change the HTML directly off the server where the website is, or change the back-up file and replace it with the one on the server.

Or does it not make any difference??

Thanks

  1. It really doesn't make any difference. Both will get the job done. However it is always best to have an up to date back-up file.

  2. It makes no difference whatsoever (except that editing the site directly reduces the amount of testing you do, so increases the likelyhood of an error going live).
