  1. There are many reasons why a page wont load.  Either the page no longer exists, or there is a problem with your computer or ISP.  It's diffecult to say for sure, with such limited info.

Even popular sites like Yahoo Answers gets shut-down from time to time.  Although at least something should load for a popular website.  For personal pages, you usually only get an error message like a 401 or 404 page.

If it's a dial-up, then it may just be a very slow connection.  It may also be that your ISP is bogged down during peak times of the day.  You can try surfing late at night or early in the morning.

It may also be your computer.  Your browser may have a problem, or your computer's network connection may not be formatted properly to work with your ISP.  Contact your ISP and ask them to troubleshoot the problem for you.

Appearently some of the pages have come up, because you've writing this.  That leads me to believe it's a problem with that specific website.

    Best of luck.  :-)
