Don't be offended. I just need help and have a limited budget.

I am currently on a oscommerce platform with a css template that is ugly. I would like to work with a designer to make my site wider, and have content that I can change on a daily basis. I want my site to function like a cross between dollardays.com and yahoo.com. I would like to ingrate an xml database which I have all the details and other features. I can help with the load as much as possible to make work minimal for the designer. I would like to be involved so that I can learn to change certain sections of the site daily. Like place new ads, change the featured products... If i have to change from oscommerce I am not attached. Actually I kinda hate it. Help! wysiwyg is more my speed but I am open.

www.mightyhookup.com is the project

  1. Open an account at http://getafreelancer.com/ and post your requirements and payment for job.

For those who plan to solicit business here, it is against Yahoo!Answers Guidelines to do so and you will be reported.

  2. You can find many cheap web designers at website like http://definitivelab.com/ .

  3. $475 http://www.samwilson3d.com

  4. Going from what you have to something that looks more like dollardays is quite a leap.

First question, what's your limited budget exactly?  If it's $50, well, there's no way any oscommerce expert (which is what you need!) could help you out - you'd need to do it yourself, maybe by buying one of the oscommerce design tutorials...
