Just 1 wire, -- to shut off power??  You don't need a diagram!  

Measure wire long enough to reach power connection on car .--Probably somewhere in fusebox that has power when ignition key is on!  (Hot" side of radio fuse is a good spot)!

cut wire at appropriate spot for switch to go, insert switch in between,-  hook up wires, -- go down near fusebox, cut line again, an insert "add-on" fuse holder with approprioate size fuse in it!

Now turm on switch and use unit!  If you can hook up the wires to amplifier from radio or whatever, surely you can hook this up!
