Webcam screen is black?

I bought a Philips webcam, and it works on MSN messenger, but not Yahoo! or AIM. The box says it works on all three messengers. When I send a webcam broadcast, it appears as a blank screen; Like the webcam is sending images but it's showing up as just a black screen. What do I do?

  1. uninstall and reinstall it.
