Webinz toys - question?

Hi, I'm wanting to buy a gift for an 11 year old girl. People have suggested these Webinz toys and look pretty good (I've done the tour on their website). However, they are not that widely available in the UK and wondered whether this would be too babyish for an 11 year old. Some sites suggest 4-7 years as more appropriate. I hear they are pretty big in the U.S. so am hoping someone can advise!!?? Thanks

they are huge here, some other companys like ty and build-a-bear are doing it too as for ur question, i think that would be perfect for an 11 yr old girl this idea works for a large range of ages, my 12 yr old sis has one, and so do most of her friends(even one of her friends' moms!), i have one that i go on once in a while as well

Yes, they are pretty "big" here in the US, but I agree with the person who said they are more for smaller kids.  I'd say 4-9 years.  They lose their appeal quickly and basically just are somthing to collect.  

Instead, why don't you try music?  Kids love to have their own music collections and things to listen to on their own.  There are a lot of great kid friendly music (I just bought the new Barenaked Ladies Snacktime for my kids) or some good bands like the Beach Boys or Beatles or something to start the kid on their own music collections.  Good luck!!

that would be a perfect gift for an eleven year old!  they are fun and very popular!  if you want a better deal, they often have soem on internet websites for very cheap!

They are very popular in the US.

I think Webkinz are definitely fine for an eleven year old. I've seen fifteen year olds playing it before and becoming addicted to it. There are many sites, including Ganz, that suggests that the age range is 4-13 years old. It wouldn't be a "babyish" game for an eleven year old.

Just be warned though, if she happens to like it a lot (which many kids do), she will probably get very addicted to it and play a lot on the computer.

of course, my friends daughtter is 12 and has like over 20!!............ so as long as u know wat ur doing then it would prob be  a perfect gift
