Webkinz fansite help?

okay there is this website freewebs and i am makeing a webkinz fansite right now i was wondering if you have to ask for permission from anywhere before making a fansite?

As far as I know, you do not have to get any permission to make a fan site.  I have a website about Webkinz and I never even thought about needing permission.  It is a good idea though to put a notice that you are not affiliated with Ganz or Webkinz, just to be safe.  And you also want to be careful about copyrighted materials.  Put up a notice that any of the pictures from Webkinz are the property of Ganz, Inc., and you should be ok.

Besides, it actually helps Webkinz that there are fan site, because it promotes them in a way.  So I wouldn't worry about it.
