Website for affordable and good school books????

does anybody kno a good website that i can get textbooks for my sons high school..... the books r expensive and i want something affordable..... please help

I suppose some Answerers would suggest eBAY, but I feel you are dealing with an unknown.  I buy used books continually from Amazon.  Even though the book may not come from Amazon direct, the transaction goes through Amazon and you have more recourse if anything in the deal goes wrong.

You will have to be careful to get the correct title and version.  The ISBN would be helpful.  Some instructors don't allow for any leeway on this.

www.half.ebay.com (easier than searching eBay)

www.amazon.com (used books are show in a box on the top right of any regular book listing on their site)

www.abebooks.com (many for $1.00)

well, http://www.textbooktorrents.com/ has free downloads of school books, it has been down for a while and may not have a great library. I have never used it before but heard it is very good. remember torrents are illegal but chances of getting caught are very slim (struck by lightning) This site is more for college/university but you may be able to find what you are looking for

www.amazon.com has tons of great used books - that's where I get all of my textbooks from. Ebay is also a good choice. You can have your son check out Facebook Marketplace too, because there are many kids on there who re-sell their old textbooks for a much cheaper price. Amazon is still my first option, though!
