Website for info about the needy?

Question

i want to know where i can go and find info cause where i work and cust. bring stuff back like clothes,shoes,baby stuff,food. We throw it all away we also send it to the back for salvage but at times its also thrown and crushed away when there are so many needy peiople here in houston that need help

Almost all communities have a Salvation Army, I know of no other organization that does more good for the needy.

Thank you for caring and wanting to help.  There should be a lot more ppl like you.  Your co can also get tax credit for what you donate.  

Salvation Army is a good organization.  Your local domestic violence shelter would be another good place.  see http://www.ndvh.org   For food consider the food bank or the food pantry nearest you http://www.secondharvest.org.   Your local United Way can give you a list of other helping places.
