I am about to launch a custom logo design website. I would like to know whether I am legally required to provide a 'Terms and Conditions' and 'Privacy Policy'? Also any ideas of how I can gain customers without having to pay for advertising? Also (sorry!) anything else I should do?

Thanks for helping.

  1. Hi,

You need to consult a business lawyer for sound advice (I'm an IT not a lawyer!).  But, privacy statements are not "required" but strongly recommended to give your customer a good feeling!  Terms and Conditions are always smart so that the customer knows what to expect from you, or if you have specific uses of your own trademarks and copyrights in mind, but again, not "required."

AND AGAIN: Contact a lawyer for official advice!

    -Chad.

  2. get an attorny for legal advices and yes Term and conditions and privacy is a very good idea for a professional website but its not required for anyone.
