  1. I just printed out my AARTS recently.  The best way to transfer credit to a college or university from your MOS training is to go through the Service Member's Opportunity College program, it's called SOCAD.  Go to Google and type:

    ARMY SOCAD 13E

    ARMY SOCAD 31B

    and

    ARMY SOCAD 31E

You should find the SOCAD site in the top couple links, and it will give you a direct link to a college or university that the Army partners with that will take almost all your MOS training as credit hours.  Great for promotion points.

Also, if you want some more credits, try taking DANTES exams.  Go to your education center and see what DANTES tests they provide.  If you pass the exam, and meet the passing score requirements by your college or university, it will be translated in to college credit, which can be put on your ERB for points.

  2. I think it really depends on the school. I agree with all the advice from the above user. I know the university I went to accepted almost zero military training. It was a 4-year state school. I think it is going to be easier to transfer the training over to a community college and then get your associates. After that, apply to a 4-year school. Be persistant. I don't think the military realizes that universities don't like to accept most transfer credit because they'd like you to repay for the classes.

  3. the best thing to do is visit your ed center on post and they will be able to direct you to the schools that offer the most credit for the MOS's you have earned.

if you dont get anywhere there try texas university.  they tend to give the most college credit for military training.  best part they are members of ConAP, therefore insuring that your credits are completely transferable to any other ConAP schools.  ConAP (Concurrent Admissions Program), information is easily found in AKO or the ARMY website.

oh and i did this through texas and earned 30 Semester hours for just AIT.  at that time my MOS was 27V then it was changed to 31P, which is now 25P.  needless to say ive been here for a minute
