Websites. How much does a cheap one cost? How long does it last before you gotta pay again?

Not sure if this applies to those yahoo domain (have your own website thing). I just want to have a page that showcases my art and if you click it another page will have a synopsis of the art. Then I need to have it link to paypal so if they want ot buy it they can.

First you have to have a DOMIAN name. (www.mywebsite.com). Which you can get from someplace like "godaddy.com" for about 13.00 a year.  Then you have to have it HOSTED that cost anywhere from 8.00 and up per month, depends on what you want to do with it. Then you have to build your website, you can buy the software yourself and do it youself: "www.ws.com" or have someone do it for you. Look at the plans on the HOST sites.

It has a free online design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. It has everything you need to get started wiht web design. MS is also giving a free domain name for the 1st year. To make a gallery like yours, I would recommend adding Lightbox 2 (free) to your office live website. There are many great examples of what you can do at the office live community forum (and great support for help as well!)
