go to the "www.irctc.co.in" site and create a profile there and start booking tickets.

The Websites for booking Indian Railway tickets are as follows : -

You can go to Sl.No. 1 site above and there you will have to fill the train no.,date of journey,station, from -to,class,category i.e.general e.t.c. First of all check the availability of seats.Fill up the reservation form i.e.Name,age,s*x,choice of birth.Give identification proof,i.e. Pass Port No.,Driving License No. etc.You will have to carry the identification proof with you and when demanded you will have to produce them.Then give your credit/Debit Card No. and submit.Take its print if it is excepted.Now this is your Railway Ticket.

You can go to Sl.No.2 and visit the site.You will have to create your profile if accepted and then you can start booking your ticket as mentioned above.
