Websites for a 7 year old 2nd grader?

is there any good sites around for my 7 year old?

i dont want any that are american based (american girl) because we live in australia.

any that are easy to navigate? because she is not confident with the internet yet. thank you!

try funbrain.com or brainpop.com for educational yet fun stuff. pbskidsgo.org or cartoon network site or nick.com is good for favorite tv shows. If you type in the name of something she enjoys doing such as a special toy like Barbie dolls, there's usually an official website with games. disneychannel.com is also great. kidsites.com is fantastic as well. i suggest not going to sites like clubpenguin.com because that game you can chat with other people and that can be potentially dangerous. neopets.com is really really fun for kids though and you can raise pets and stuff. have fun!
