Websites for gifted children?

Question

I would like some information on websites for gifted children. My daughter is fairly smart at 17 months (vocab of about 200 words, understands concepts like cause and effect, and memorizes EVERYTHING, etc) I don't know if she is gifted but I would like to nurture and encourage what she does have.

My 10 year old was the same way. By 2 she will know all her numbers, shapes, colors, prayers and will be controlling her preschool class.

I would relax...introduce her to life, experience things, play games and have fun. Right now her brian is forming all of it pathways the more experiences you give her the better it is. Remember a child learns through all their senses - sight, smell, sound and touch.

The difficult part for you and others Will be to remember that she is only 1 or 2 (it continues on each year), for her playmates Will not develop at the same rate so she may get frustrated (My 6 year old was a biter at that age. But his verbal skills were more developed than the other kids and he just got frustrated and board.)

Lastly when it comes to elementary school make sure they will provide stimulation with out pushing her.
