  1. I know you said websites but big lots is a good place for quality supplies on a budget and target has some things on clearance right now even the dollar store has things for beginners. but to Really answer your question oriental trading company has a scrapbook section.

  2. Creative Memories has a cool site if you want to start a digital scrapbook (creativememories.com).  The program is free to try, and you can buy the full version if you like it.  Other than that, you can buy lots of scrapbooking supplies at craft stores like Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, AC Moore, etc).

  3. You might be able to find a few things here:

Creative memories tends to be too expensive for my budget. I've picked up a few things at the Dollar General store.

  4. I wouldn't recommend buying supplies online if you are looking for cheap and are new to the hobby.  Mostly because the shipping adds up quickly and often offsets reasonable online prices.

I would encourage you, if you cost is a factor, to make use of Michael's and JoAnn's coupons, watch for sales on supplies at those stores or at Hobby Lobby. Get on the mailing list for Archivers or your local scrapbook store as well.  Be careful of work from home scrapbook supply companies (Creative Memories, Stampin' Up, Close to My Heart, etc) becaus their prices are often higher though their products are good.

  5. http://scrapbookscrapbook.com has Free papers, journaling tags, frames, alphas to download.
