  1. I really dont understand what you are looking for...do you want sites children can use or ones a parent or teacher can use to help their child or chlidren learn better.....

Young children should not spend more than a half hour per day on the internet and it should be only on learning sites or ones that are made exclusively for young children like pbskids, disney channel, starfall............other wise children should be playing with others, reading, playing games, or engaged with their adult caregivers or parents.....

If you are looking for sites for adults to work with children try some of the ones already listed here but DO NOT include MYSPACE OR ANY OTHER site similar to it for young children too much of a chance for more problems than you want to deal with.

  2. The most researched and influential organization (website for children) is the N.A.E.Y.C.  The naeyc is a national organization that provides a enormous data base of research and application regarding the developing child.  The naeyc is also the "gold standard" for accreditation for child development centers in the US.  The naeyc has practical real world application of any topic bringing theory into practice.
