Websites to make a family tree??

Question

I want to create a family tree and i started by using ancestry.com but then I realized that I have to pay! So, I was wondering if there are any good websites where I can build a family tree, add pictures and stories. It doesn't have to have a feature where I can search for family members. I just want somewhere to put my family members names in a place where no stranger will see them.

www.geneanet.org is free.

go to a search engine and type in  (PAF). my aunt showed me this one. and on ancestry, you dont have to pay unless you are searching for like records and such. i have one on both of them.

ancestry.com will allow you to create a family tree for free... you only have to pay if you use their search engine
