  1. babyblue with a raspberry sounds nice

  2. It might become a bit like fourth of july if you're not careful.

Do red and white with baby blue accents (something blue?). Like red/white bouquet, blue ribbon and pearl white ribbons.

Or pick baby blue and white polka dots are your theme and use red as punches of color accents everywhere.

    All the best.

  3. I have to agree with most of the posters.  Either stick with baby blue and white or red and white as your main colors.  Use the other color for an accent color for flowers and centerpieces.  I think that will look great!

  4. It sounds like the wedding is on fourth of july..and waving the flag around! but thats just me...when i see any type of red blue and white..thats what I think

  5. This combo sounds great, if done the right way.  I would suggest picking just one as the primary color and use the other as an accent.  Too much of both and it'll get borderline tacky.

Check out home decor magazines or websites.  I think you'll find some great examples of this combo, which will help you decide how to balance the two.

  6. black

  7. Well I think  it just is too reminiscent of the fourth of July.  I wouldn't do it.

  8. I really like light blue and darker (almost burgundy) reds together, so I don't think its tacky, it depends on your personal style...

    ...hope i helped : ]

  9. I would not put baby blue and red together, however, if your wedding party wore baby blue gowns and you mostly used baby blue and white, I think you might be able to get away with using red roses or other red flowers. If you are wearing white, the red will look good next to your gown. You could have the bridesmaids have white flowers in their hair and a single red rose with the white flowers. This way, the red would be far away from the baby blue and be an accent instead of looking gaudy. It's hard when you are torn between colors you love and colors that complement each other, but I'd try to pick colors that go together for the sake of pictures if for nothing else!

  10. I don't like it.  That's just my opinion.

  11. It depends on what time of year it is. The first thing I think of when I picture those colors is the 4th of July. I would think that a babyblue with a raspberry color would look nice - but I think the red will make it look to patriotic.

  12. i think that is going to look a bit patriotic and even if you are getting married on the 4th of July it may be a bit too cliche.. maybe pick the color you would really ant dresses in.. say baby blue.. and have small accents of the other colors around.. like red flowers or ribbons.. like very small accents.. not table linens of chair covers... or you could do a monochromatic theme, like shades of blue from baby to dark[er] and then if you put red flowers and or candles around it would tie in better... i am sure you can make it nice butit is one of those schemes that is border line and could either look really classy or really cheesy or kitschy... red roses are always classic and you could carry red roses.. and if you did baby blue dresses and had the MOH in like navy and they all carried red roses i think it would look really nice... you would be surprised how pretty red roses look up against pastel dresses (when you actually see it).. I was surprised until i SAW it together.

  13. i saw these colors on "who's wedding is it anyway" and they usually repeat episodes so try to catch it...some ideas that i remember were they had baby blue table clothes with red napkins. the bridesmaids were in baby blue and carried red roses.

  14. Very.....put the colors together...yuk!
