Wedding Planning business?

Question

Can anyone tell me anything about the industry? Good or bad. It has been my dream for a long time and my time in high school is coming to an end and I would like to know if this is a good thing to pursue. I would move to a big city if needed. Any websites or sources where i can find more information on this?

Would I be more successful if I were an "event planner" instead by broadening my business? Thank you!

I am in the bridal business. If your just coming out of high school you have to put a portfolio together, and apprentice for a wedding or event planner.

Check out the abc which is the association of bridal consutants in your area. Go to www.theknot.com which is a big bridal site for everything bridal event planners, dresses, shoes, lingerie, flowers, everything.

You have to expand your knowledge and study the knot.com bridal magazines.
