I have been trying to put together some cds for our reception and all i can come up with are these slow love songs...what songs would ya'll recommend for faster paced everyone dancing songs???

well it depends on the crowd, in my reception their was all nationalities and age groups, a good amount of people were latin, so a lot of salsa and merengue music is great to dance to, also some classics like kool and the gang (celebrate) some disco like donna summers last dance, abba, gloria gaynor i will survive,  theirs the electric slide, a lot of things out their but you have to cater to your taste and your guests.

well you can do some oldies and some music from today. a little bit of everything would be good so that everyone has something they like so they can get on the dance floor :)

definately check out the show on TLC "rock this reception"  good idea!!  depends on your age group for fast songs
