Wedding Theme Question??

We are getting married on the beach in the Bahamas next November. We are trying to decide on a theme. We cant decide between a fall theme, or a beach theme. What do you all think?

Yeah, I think you have already picked your theme - Your going to be gettin married on a beach in November - you could intertwine the two themes!!!

I really think going the route of fall colors would be a lot of fun.  Oranges and yellows are very tropical, then you add brown in to make it more fall.  Everyone does beach theme for a beach wedding...a fall theme would be very different, but still compliment being in the bahamas.  You could do orange lilies...soooo pretty!  I LOVE your idea!

yea id go for beach theme, go for freshness like light blues, yellow and coral tones

you could also bring shells etc into it

A beach theme.  You could make/purchase seashell Christmas ornaments as the favors since November is the time of year that people start thinking about decorating.

I think a fall wedding will look kind of odd or out of place on a beach, but I'm not a fan of fall themes (I'm getting married in October and I'm using a beautiful dark pink and teal), but to each his own.

You could also come up with a different theme such as a hawaiian theme or something like that.

How about the beach in the fall? seems like that would make sense because you are getting married on the beach in the fall.

How about a cool, island theme that incorporates Bahamian culture and music?  You could have a steel-drum band, a pig roast, Bahamian delicacies on your reception menu.  People who are coming to your wedding want the island experience- they don't want to be reminded that it's fall.  Besides, fall leaves and cornucopias or pumpkins or whatever would look really out of place at a beautiful Bahamas beach wedding.

Beach theme, but you could incorporate some of the fall colors as accents. A burnt orange could look really nice with a beachy light blue if done the right way.... Good luck!

Try something simple...it always looks better that way!

But if you're really into a theme than id go with the beach theme so it could all blend in. Start buying things now cause it might me a little hard the the fall. Good Luck!

I am getting married at the beach in April! You could do a fall theme with colorful leaves and shells together. Incorporate gold and bronze tones!!! That would be lovely.  Paper direct has beautiful fall themed invitations!

If it's a beach wedding, a beach theme! :)  If you like them both you can do, "Autumn at the Beach" and have autumn colors and flower arrangements but with a beachy feel.  Congrats!
