I want to find some where in the UK where I can get my 19 year old wedding video put onto DVD.

As you can imagine, this is very precious to me, and I would be heartbroken if it got lost in the post. Anyone know of a super-snaps type place that offers this service?

Thanks :o)

Also what kind of cost is involved?

  1. I wouldn't be able to recommend a place... I'd say Costco, but I don't know if you have that over there.

I'm assuming that you're talking about transferring from either 8mm or VHS video tape...

You're probably not comfortable sending your footage to some random guy on the web, but I am a newby videographer and have done several transfers. If you mail the footage to me, I'll transfer, color correct, and burn it to DVDs for a small fee.

  2. I share wondershare Video to DVD burner with you.

It can burn all popular format video to DVD and support video editing, such as cropping black bar on screen, trimming time length for a specific video clips and so on.

It still supports to customize menus and background music when menu is displayed.

If you have access to a mac, try this:

p.s. you can turn to NERO, the burning program, but too professional to handle.

  3. Cucusoft Video to DVD Creator is a good choice. It converts popular video formats such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, DV, VOB to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable or home DVD player. Any video to to VCD/DVD/SVCD is even faster than real-time.

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of the DVD creator give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product:

  4. I think Jessops do this, though I'm not sure if they do it in store - you might end up entrusting your video to the post after all!  Have a look in Yellow Pages or try googling for something in your area.
