Okay I have decide that my wedding colors are going to be silver and white. I need help with a accent color mainly for my flowers. I will be getting married in late September of next year. Which by the way is still pretty much summer here in Texas. I was thinking about a light pale pink. I would like to hear some other color ideas and what type(s) of flowers would be pretty in that color? Thanks for any suggestions!

  1. white and silver dont "pop" much... go with a red or something brighter :)

  2. I would say blue. Hydrangeas are pretty in the summer.

(Or purple. Because I always say purple.)

    Something bright, not pastel.

  3. how about a light pink or lavender?

    that would blend nicely

  4. Though red may always look good with white and silver, I would choose something more unique and personal.  Depending on your personality, you may want something funky like a bold turquoise or blue.  If you're less outgoing, I think pink is perfect.  Be on the lookout for what colors are natural in September in your area.  Lavender and plum are sure to look good with silver though and might be a creative contrast to the summer if you like to go away from the flow of things.

  5. Pale pink would look really nice but I would make sure not to go too pale or it might look a bit washed out against the white and silver.

You could have roses, peonies, pale pink calla lillies, tulips, carnations, pink fragapanis. I'd speak to a florist to find out which ones are in season when you plan on having your wedding.

    Other possible accent colours:

shades of blue, green, teal, or purple/lavender

My best friend did pale pink, pale green, white and silver for her wedding.

  6. I'd punch it up with fuchsia  I had an all pink (almost ffuchsia bridal bouquet of roses and it looked great against my white gown.

  7. do like a teal blue or something fun :)

  8. Any color would look great with white and silver.

Lighter colors like pale pink, ice blue or a light yellow would be subtle and soft.

you can also do a bold color that would really pop like a red, wine or aqua.

or do black and white with accents in silver for a classic and elegant fee.
