Wedding at the Best Western Monterey. Does anyone have a ballpark cost for me??

My fiance and I would like to have a nice wedding on the beach but not too big. We thought about having it at the Best Western in Monterey on the beach. It is so difficult to get a quote without getting trapped in some kind of committment. I was wondering if anyone had any information they could give me so I knew if this was a realistic idea. go to a travel agent that specializes in honeymoons and destination weddings.  they can get that info really easy.  i went through that process at the beginning of the year when deciding where to get married. and i was giving about a dozen packets of hotels with break downs of costs and what is included in each package.  we ended up with iberostar in riviera maya.  good luck.

Hi Rachel and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I tried to use Google, but there are a number of Best Westerns in Monterey!  And, of course, on their sites, they do not give prices for the banquets.  

You are CERTAINLY able to meet with the banquet sales coordinator to get prices.  There is absolutely NO REASON to think that you would get trapped into an agreement.  Believe me, hotels are more than willing to meet with engaged couples regarding what they have to offer.  There is NO commitment involved in meeting with the banquet coordinator.  

So....whatever Best Western you are thinking about, give the banquet coordinator a call and set up a meeting.  Good luck!
