Wedding cake fvor boxes?

Hi everyone

Usually in a wedding, who wraps and puts the cake into the wedding favor boxes? Im from Sri Lanka, we usually give wedding cake pieces in little boxes. I wanted to know, does the bride's side have to wrap it up themselves or are there shops that do it, or is it done by a particular person??

the catering manager or a family member can do so

In the states the reception hall cuts and bags the cake.

My dads parents did it for my mom's wedding, but they did it in advance (picked up the cake the day before, and bundled everything into little boxes before the wedding or reception).

Usually the caterers do it, that's if you're cutting the cake after speeches etc, just tell them what u want! .
