  1. I think it really depends on the wedding. If the wedding is black tie, then definitely not on the pants. Older ladies can get away with pant suits if they are dolled up but usually do fancy skirt "suits" (think Queen Mum), .

If the wedding is fairly casual, I would say pants or a skirt is safe. The risk with pants and a button down shirt is you may look like wait staff. Ick. I'd go with a skirt and nice shirt if yo're just really not wanting to wear a dress.

  2. as long as your not wearing jeans, and you look well kept it will be suitable!

  3. As long as you look presentable and you aren't wearing white. However, if the wedding invitation does say that it is a black tie affair then I would definitely go with a dress - but most of the time a skirt or pant suit are fine.

  4. yes it's fine as long that they are colour coordinate, like a nice tailored pant suit .

I just read "Queen mom" I was laughing  ! I have never seen  her with a pant suit on before !

It all depends on your age about the style that you choose ,you can find some tasteful modern cut suits out there, you can dress them up or down. Can you tell me when is the  wedding  this way I get an idea of what to look for !1

  5. it's fine either way as long as the outfit is tasteful
