Wedding colors, blue and violet

Question

HI all, for my wedding i was thinking of having charcoal colored bridesmaids dresses, but i'm thinking that along with dark suits i's going to be too dull for a summer wedding?

My other thoughts were sky blue bridesmaids dresses, but no other blue, maybe just all white flowers with a bit of greenery (because i don't want it to just be full on blue everywhere)... or perhaps the blue dresses with hydrangea purple accessories (eg flowers, table decorations etc)?? any thoughts? anyone got any pictures?

Any darker blues are out of the question, as are yellows, oranges, reds, pinks (as they don't go with my dress/ fiancee would have a fit)..

Stay away from dark purple it is associated with funerals. What about silver?

I would use tiffany blue and ivory with green leaves in the bouquets.  Dresses should be tiffany blue...with ivory sashes.  Table decorations, do Ivory tablecloths, with tiffany blue napkins and then floral arrangements to match color scheme.

I think sky blue dresses and white flowers. It's classy and would photograph wonderfully.

I think sky blue is perfect for a summer wedding with white flowers. If you want to add a splash of color, throw in some purple, but not too much.

I Think You Should Go With The Sky Blue Dresses.

Having Charcoal Dresses Will Look Like They Are Very Faded Next To The Black Suits.
