is there anything you wish you would have had with you, or you're very glad you had with you on your wedding day? I'm putting together my 'wedding day survival kit' and I was just wondering what is really important to have with me. I know the basics, like hair spray and a sewing kit, but anything special that you would suggest? Thanks! :)

  1. hair spray

    brush

    extra bobby pins

    extra makeup

    qtips

    mints

    sewing kit

    deodorant

    aspirin

    stomach medicine

extra nylons if you are wearing any

    safety pins

    band aids for blisters

  2. 1. Deodorant

    2. Lip gloss

    3. Extra stockings (if you are wearing them)

    4. Clear fingernail polish (helps in a variety of ways, loose beads, seams, that kind of thing)

    5. Clear Eyes, you won't sleep much the night before and this will make you look fresh and gets the red out of any pimples you may have (stress)

    6. Favorite cd, the most calming one, you will want some calm before your big day

    7. Mascara, mascara, mascara, it's like the framework of the eyes

    8. Tampons/pads (you seriously never know)

    9. Makeup remover, it's just nice in case

    10. More than one foundation, you will probably look tired and want to blend a cooler tone with a warmer one to get the best fit. Being tired can make you look more pale, which can make your foundation lines more noticeable.

    11. Needle and thread, it can be a life saver

    12. Double sided strong tape (not for scrap booking, but the stuff for skin, scotch tape isn't strong enough)

    13. Flip flops, sneakers your shoes are probably going to uncomfortable so bring some comfy shoes

    14. Tooth brush and tooth paste

    Good luck!

  3. Strong double-sided tape to fix a fallen hem or a tear on a seam, Giant, heavy duty safety pins to fix a bustle that won't stay put, a stain removing pen like tide to go, travel size deodorant (you may sweat more than usual), extra earring backs, bandaids, a small hair dryer (my sister dropped her train in the toilet- thank god it was BEFORE she used the bathroom! we had a hair dryer so we dried her dress in minutes), and the stuff you already know about (toothbrush and toothpaste, bobby pins, etc.). It's also good to have a couple of rolls of paper towels on hand at the reception, or people will use all of your expensive printed napkins to soak up their spills.

  4. I didn't even worry too much about that ..as long as I had my mascara, lip gloss and hair spray, i was set to go!! maybe a mini bottle of perfume to get all refreshed after photos and smell all nice :)

  5. I would recommend static spray for dresses, toothbruses and toothpaste for at least most of the bridal party, black socks for a groomsman or two who may not have known prior to the wedding that you can't really wear white ones with a suit (lol), bobby pins, a list of phone numbers for anyone and everyone that you could possibly need that day, makeup remover, and shout wipes.

....better to overplan than underplan. :)
