  1. what kind of wedding theme are you going for?

  2. We had meat and potato pie.

  3. Iceland, or set up a maccy ds restaurant. lol.

  4. What a brilliant idea. I'd love to go to a Wedding where I was served Fish and chips with curry sauce or mushy peas. My mouth's watering already. I saw it done on TV with Nick what's is face. Everyone had a good time. I'm sure your local chip shop will be pleased with a large order and you may be able to get a discount.

  5. went to a wedding recently and the evening do was burgers hot dogs and chips everybody really enjoyed it so stick with that!

oh yeah bacon butties and ketchup is a winner.

  6. fish and chips is a great idea!!!!!

and for those wo dont eat fish you could  have chicken/beef burgars....

id love to go to a wedding that served food like that its really personal and creative!!!

    starter:soup

    mains:fish in chips

    dessert:jelly n icecream

and put retro sweers on ALL the tables i think thats brill!!!

    best of luck!!!!!!

  7. Go to Farmfoods or Iceland

  8. Excellent. Fish'n'chips followed by a couple o' packets o' Parma Violets and Love Hearts. I bet most folk would love that. When you are buying your sweeties, look out for the buy one get one deals, you will save a fortune. Why don't you contact some of your local chippies and see if they would be willing to do you a deal on a bulk purchase. It would be a great advert for them and will make a memorable wedding meal for you and all your guests. Good luck....

  9. Are you really considering serving hot dogs at your wedding??? Aren't weddings supposed to be a somewhat special occasion?

I understand not having a limitless budget, but come on.  You can do a retro theme without having to scream that you spent no money on this at all.  If you're expecting people to come and bring gifts and all that, at least put more effort into their meal than "jelly."

  10. Just book a part in Mcdonalds

Happy meals for all @ £1.99 each.

  11. Get a price on Deli prepared subs or wraps on a platter, plus salads and condements to go with it.

  12. For my wedding we did pulled pork and baked beans. We also took sour cream and mixed it with Ranch Packets to make a Dip for Chips and did a veggie tray that i made myself.

You could also do like a Kabob.. if your using hot dogs, do tomato, hotdog piece, onion, green pepper, and maybe a couple other veggie and grill them, it would be creative and you can use Chicken/Beef/Pork/Brats/Hot Dogs very versitile depending on what you have on hand or in your budgete

Desert can be really easy, just have Wedding Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream and have different toppings, Sprinkles, M&M's Chocolate Syrup.

  13. I think fish and chips is a great idea.  I'd go fo sausages aswell for those that don't eat fish (always goes down well with the kids!) and perhaps veggie burgers for vegetarians, if any.  How about having some buttered rolls also.  This is cheap and the portions of food won't have to be so big.

Retro sweets is a fantastic idea aswell.  Everyone will be pretty full from the meal, so I think these will go down well.

Sounds like you got it sussed already.  Good Luck and have a fantastic day!
