  1. I would say whatever you can easily afford.  Depending upon who it is for, I've spent anywhere from $25.00-$75.00.  Of course another factor is my money situation at the time.  I don't really think there is or should be a set amount.

  2. I'd say 100-500 dollars, if it's a friend.  Well, that's how much they give in my culture. They never give cash, though; that's too materialistic for a matrimonial event. They give gold coins. It's a nice gift and it doesn't lose its value in trade.

  3. From my own personal experience, We had a wedding gift given to us that was i'd guess about $3000.00! It was an entertainment system.

  4. i got tuna fish for mine!

  5. $100-$500 depending on how well you know the person. just not too much that you'l go broke

    =)

  6. It really depends on so much. You should give what you can afford and it also depends on how well you know the bride/groom. While going to the bridal registry to pick something that is within your budget is one way to go, another is to go out and pick something that is more meaningful to you and the recipient.

  7. $100 is considered normal. Thats how much i gave my friends or sometimes more, depends on how close we are. Some people give each other $50.

Well, look at it this way, if u buy them a gift, its not gonna cost u $100.
