Wedding gift from best man and groomsman?

What should I get the couple for a wedding gift? any good ideas? I am the best man, and I am hoping to spend around $100 or so, i think that is a reasonable amount, not sure though. Also another groomsman wants to go in on the gift, so maybe a couple ideas for a gift around 200 or so would be good. Are all the groomsmen suppose to get the groom a gift as well? thank you!

We got photo album with our names engraved, we loved it.  We thought it was a thoughtful and personal gift idea that really stayed with us.  I recommend the same idea with the couples names and the wedding date will last forever.  Go to memorablegifts.com they have some great selection in this category.

Yes, all the groomsmen give a gift. The polite thing [old rules] was not to go in together on a gift, new rules say go ahead. If you can get the grooms men to all agree on an equal amount to contribute, and get them all to cough it up, go for it.

Check the bridal registry, and find something for the price of the money you have. Or just give the money or a gift card.

First of all the Groomsmen don't get the Groom a gift.  The Groom gives the groomsmen a gift for being there for him.  Your gift to the groom is your paying for your tux and any other significant stuff surrounding what you wear and giving him a bachelor party a week before the wedding.

As for a wedding gift for the couple.  Yes you can go in together on a wedding gift.  $100 per person is a good amount.

Some ideas:

A case of good wine.

A really nice set of pots & pans

A gift certificate to a B&B in a place they like to go

Anything from their REGISTRY !!

I think is ALL the groomsmen pitched in a gift for the Bride and Groom it would be a great idea, easy for all of you and you could get the couple something really wonderful.
