They are both young [21&23] have one daughter, have lived together for 3 years [[no household items]]. They are fun, down to earth people that are "well off". Pretty much have "everything". I am her bridesmaid and have known her husband even longer. Please ANY other ideas other than money, gift cards [[too impersonal for my taste]] or frames!!

  1. 1. Sky diving lessons

    2. Hot air balloon ride

3.A scrap book of their relationship ( from when they first started dating up til now) get pictures from different friends & family members.

    4. A honey moon bag, put a nice teddy & a pair of boxers, a bottle of their favorite liquor, 2 glasses, flavored lube, some Hersheys kisses at the bottom of the box. (GET CREATIVE WITH THIS)

5.Buy them 3 season passes to Disneyland (it something for the whole family to enjoy)

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT OR AT LEAST GIVES YOU SOME IDEAS TO PLAY WITH. GOOD LUCK!!!

  2. I think you should give the wedding couple something memorable from the heart. Custom handmade figurine is a unique gift for everyone!

I would highly recommend you visit http://aweddinggiftidea.com

Their professional artists will make a wonderful figurine of them. I sent them my favorite pictures of my sister and they made incredible "mini-me". That was awesome! My sister was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to her as wedding gift.

  3. Oh, yes get them a stone massage. It is a gift they will love and cherish for...the rest of the day that they get it?

There is a world of tanagible luxury items out there that they would probably love, go looking. Bet the bride registered somewhere, ask her if she did and where.

And ask someone close to them if they would enjoy a massage before you give them that, really, some people do not like that kind of thing.

I vote for a basket kit. Do the one for snuggle night. Some snacks, some acrylic lap blankets, cocoa, some mugs, and a Blockbuster gift certificate. Could make it for the child, too.

Or a sundae kit, spoons, cute icecream bowls, and a variety of toppings.

Or a margarita kit, with everything there you need to make a margarita, booze, the bottled mixer, the salt, a couple plastic glasses.  Think one up yourself that fits their personality.

  4. Well, it falls into the category of a household item, but I got a small table top fountain for a friends wedding. Or you could always look into something creative such as a flameless candle.

  5. How about a rose bush or plant for their yard?

If she never redeemed the massage gift certificate, then she may not redeem other gift certificates . . . . in which case, your money is wasted.

How about making them a pretty gift basket?  A good bottle of champagne, 2 pretty champagne flutes, and a box of chocolates, maybe?

  6. Since you know them so well, it seems like it would be easy for you to choose a gift; we're just a bunch of strangers! Anyway, why not give them a weekend away somewhere, Las Vegas or San Diego. Even though you say they are "well off" doesn't mean there's nothing they'd want or need; especially since you put "everything" in quotes. That means they need a lot of things.

  7. I think the massages could be a good idea if they are into that sort of thing. I know I'd love it!

Another idea would be to go to an antique store for a look. Often you can find one-off items that are really nice for wedding gifts- antique vases, mirrors, plates, etc.

Or a night at a nice hotel that they can use on their first anniversary (or another special occasion). And you could offer to babysit!

  8. The heated stone is idea is pretty cool ,im sure they would love it especially after all the stress from the wedding and having a child.
