To have picture perfect hair and makeup for a wedding is important.  My first Idea is to add some red to your hair along with keeping it dark.  I have a mixture you can tell the stylist.  Color your hair atleast 1 week before so you don't have any stain on your scalp before you wed.  Permanent color= 1/2 clairol 56r and 1/2 clairol 68r. make sure to use a pro for this.  If you have color already on your hair it will grab the color and go black.  The two colors together give you a dark rasberry look.  Outside your hair will shine like the sun!  If semi-permanent use redken shades eq 6rr for a little reddish orange or 6r for more red! With Makeup use the color Heart by Bare minerals Glimmers. Will go with any color any shade of person and makes eyes pop! Use wet to have a foiled look and dry on the brow boan for softness. Soft liner on top and bottom corner only and High impact mascara by clinique.  If you need a coverup use Bare minerals also.  Very easy and makes your face look soft focus.  Don't use any brown colors on your wedding day! too harsh. Soft is what you need but noticable.

I think the best way to go with any make up is natural.

You're so pretty, you could probably roll out of bed and down the aisle!

As far as hair, wear it at least similarly to the way you often wear it.  I like mine down, so I wore it down and curled nicely with a flowered wreath on top at my wedding.  I just look like a different person with an updo, and that's not what I wanted.  

For makeup, try to stay away from trends...  I have seen pictures from the 70's of brides with peacock blue eyeshadow!  If you know what kind of colors look good on you, go with them.  Maybe invest in a special lipstick or something a little more luxe than usual.  It's your special day!

Bottom line:  Your wedding day is a special once-in-a-lifetime event, but you want to look like yourself.  Don't go with anything that doesn't look like you.
