  1. The Parador in Baiona is AMAZING.

I highly recommend it. It is in Galicia, on the coast. The castle is surrounded by walls and takes up a whole little peninsula.

Baiona is the place where the first of Christopher Columbus´ ships arrived and there is a repplica of it right by the castle.

  2. Some of the nicest Castels in Spain are in the Castell Ý Leon Area up and around Madrid as there is lot's of grass and castle's but if you look towards Bilbao more there is some Castels there also from the borders and all around Portugûel

  3. Check out the paradors at Alarcon and Siguenza they are both Castles.  I don't know if you can get married in them. Alarcon is pretty small, but very romantic. Siguenza is a much bigger castle.

  4. No, but that is a very unique idea.

  5. Reminds me of Jimi Hendrix....Spanish Castle Magic...

  6. Nope but I can suggest that you marry me ;-)

Try the link below which is a Google search...hopefully it'll help you.

  7. There's a castle in Monda, I've seen wedding photo's in the Marbella version of OK & Hello.  Monda is about 20 mins inland from Marbella.  Try a Google search, if no luck come back to me. I live in the next white pueblo over to Monda.

You will have to check out the legal formalities for getting married in Spain, but I can help with that too, if needed.

Just had a look, 'www.mondacastle.com' will give you details.

  8. yes! there is a beautiful castel on the road from Torrent to Monserrat in Valenica.  From what you are looking for I think it would be perfect.  I will have to ask my friend for the telephone number.

  9. No,but I think that is so romantic.

  10. A friend of mine got married last week in 'Castell de Oliver' it's not too far from both Barcelona and Girona airport. The wedding was really nice and the food was fantastic. The rooms are very nice although it's not on the cheap side.

It's the second time I've been there and as I live in Spain I've been to quite a few weddings there, this place is definitely one of the best!

The web site is in English, Spanish and Catalan.

Let me know if you want anymore information.
