Wedding invites and fountain pen...?

Question

I plan on hand-addressing our wedding invitations and I want to use a fountain pen obviously because it looks nice. Does anyone know where I can find a good, yet inexpensive fountain pen? All the ones that I've come across are either $2.99 or in the range of $40.00 to $200.00. I can't fathom spending a bunch of money on a pen I'll probably only use once. Thank you!

if i were you, i would go to your local scrapbooking store and ask what they recommend.. they are generally crafters themselves and have experience with that.. and they probably could recommend one they sell. perhaps see if you have a Michaels (craft store) in your area.

Fountain pens tend to leak a lot when not used properly.  I don't know you feel about computers, but why not try printing them out instead?  They look nicer and you won't have to have a cramp in your hand for days. :)

take a look at ebay. I honestly don't think fountain pens make a difference in how an addressed envelope looks. To be honest I wouldn't know the difference.

More than likely though, i'd go with the 2.99 pen.

Fountain Pens can be really messy..they can leak...

I would select a very nice black gel pen....the effect is still the same....or consider a silver or gold ink pen...very classy...good luck.
