Wedding is in three weeks and out of town?

Question

I need more than an emergency kit, I can't afford to "forget" anything. I am putting together a tote with items I need to bring. So far I have:

cake topper

champagne flutes

dress, veil, shoes

undergarments

party favors

marriage license

cake knife set

aisle runner

Please help me, I must be missing a thousand things.

Are you driving? I don't think that you can bring a cake knife on a plane. You may have to mail it.

I noticed that you did not list your wedding rings (yours and his) and a card box (if you have one).   Are you going to wear slippers after your pictures are taken and you've done all your dances?  What about your headpiece/tiara and veil?  

Be sure to have some mints or breath spray.

I am also getting married in a few weeks - so this post is right up my alley!

if you are planning your own wedding

you need to write down things step by step in your wedding and everything you could possibly need at each time

ex: getting ready

curlers

straightener

make up

shoes

deodorant

ect.

http://www.frugalbride.com has lists upon lists of what you need...check it out.  I just got married a few weeks ago and it helped me tremendously.  I even used the itinerary!  My friends think I'm coo-coo, but it put my mind at east.  Everything was mapped out.
