If you've already had a wedding, how important was it to you to have all love songs? When it came down to it, would it have mattered exactly what the song was about as long as it was fun? Alot of songs I like happen to be...well, not about love...

  1. No, you definitely want some dance music in there! I've never been to a wedding where all the music was slow or love songs...usually they play a lot of oldies and maybe some hip-hop for younger people. Stuff with a beat that people can get up and dance to!  Just like at your high school dances, I would imagine. The slow songs are interspersed with the rest, but it would be really boring if that was all you played.

Well . . . whatever you decide . . . please throw in a couple of the traditional ones for us old folks, please!

Edit.  Oh, I enjoyed that.  Thanks for including those links.  I liked the steel drum music.

  3. Not exactly..but if you need more wedding songs..

check out this site http://www.365weddingsongs.com for wedding songs.

It has tonnes of wedding songs which have videos/lyrics for you to choose from first dance,cake-cutting to march-in wedding songs and even can use for your montage.

Please rate my post if it is helpful.

    Thanks.

  4. no, the reception doesn't have to be lovey-dovey or anything.

its your wedding, you can play any darn thing you like!

and everyone has to agree ;) ;)

  5. It doesn't have to be all lovey - play whatever music you guys like. What's the point in playing all lovey music if neither or you like it? It's nice to throw in a few love songs - but it certainly doesn't have to be all love songs. I know most of the fast songs at my wedding weren't really about love...

I wouldn't worry about it to much - just as long as both of you like it and enjoy it.
