  1. My little girl is a good song for weddings

  2. Lost in the Moment by Big n Rich.  That would be good for walking down the aisle.

  3. Might I suggested purchasing the soundtrack for "The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler?

    ;-)

There have been a couple good suggestions here...  Organist will know a few... DJ can take care of most of it... (maybe ask the DJ about down the isle for "fun" songs)

it's kinda cool you are looking to go outside the box instead of the traditional  dumb dumb dee dumb...

  4. I've been to some pretty funky weddings;

Some suggestions from what I've seen that has worked :

    1. Star Wars theme music

    2. Jurassic Park theme music (this one was the best)

    3. From this Moment: Shania Twain

    4. Some nice uptone compositions by Mozart or Beethoven might work too.

  5. As long as the song is bright and happy, and the words are too, you'll be good.My sister used "Fields of Gold" by Sting for when the guests arrived.I wanna say she used "Collide" by Howie Day to walk down the aisle. Then I sang "The Story" by Brandi Carlile as they lit candles. And finally, after being announced and walking up the aisle, they played "Imagine" by John Lennon. So,just like I said, anything bright and positive is good.

  6. try something by britney spears or a screamo song.

    that will stand out

  7. Try this site:  http://www.wedding-music-help.com

There are suggestions for music for the ceremony and reception and links to download the songs.

    Good Luck!

  8. first ask your pianist/organist if they have any suggestions.

have your future husband pick a song and you pick a song that you want played at your wedding(make sure they are family friendly)

let the bridesmaids come up with 3 suggestions then you pick one.

lighting of the unity candles: The Prayer by Celine Dion.

you can have 2 people sing it or a piano/ violin duet songs gorgeous.

as for coming down the isle... try Tender Moments by Catherine Rollin(from lyric moments books one)

oh for prelude music... try other songs from the lyric moments books. and then the prelude to pride and prejudice. it's really pretty.

now for the exit music something cheerful... if you can't think of anything then do butterscotch rag by Catherine Rollin(found in Catherine Rollin's favorite solos book 2)

oh and congrats on your wedding day.

  9. Mouret's Suite de Symphonies.......it is a beautiful song to walk out of the church to

  10. how do i live without you - LeAnn Rimes

  11. sir mix a lot, baby got back!! that would gets some heads turning!! prob best NOT to have that in a church though, best of luck with your wedding.

  12. check this site.. http://wedsongs.blogspot.com to see if you can find any perfect wedding songs for yourself..

    Congrats.

  13. I remember at my aunt's wedding, they used Girls Just Wanna Have Fun when the bridesmaids were coming down the aisle; When they said their vows and whatnot and were leaving the church, At Last by Etta James was played, but I'm not sure if that's your style. :)

  14. something to stand out eh?

try hero/heroine by boys like girls.

  15. DJ's often have lists with suggestions on their websites.

  16. Have you tried weddingchannel.com? And congratulations :)

  17. Consult with your organist/pianist/music person about "down the aisle" music.  Consult with your deejay about music that will be played at the reception.
