Wedding party on a wedding program? HELP?

if the bride has a mother and father who both remarried, groom's mother is deceased, the grooms father remarried, and the groom's grandmother is going to represent him in the wedding. we also have aunts who are going to walk down the aisle how do you word that on a wedding program? as far as the wedding party part? please help

What we did is put their names and then put what they are. Like this:

Joe Smith...................................... Step-father of the bride

Mary Jones...................................... Grooms grandmother

Also, on the back we put in memory of and who was deceased such as my husband's grandparents.

The best way to word it on a program is to write their actual titles and not  make it look like something is being covered up. So for example;

~~ Wedding Party ~~

Step-Father of the Groom -

Groom's Grandmother -

Groom's Aunt -

Bride's Aunt -

You don't need to be specific on who is representing who, and who is walking with who. A simple list of who is in the wedding party is sufficient as everyone will meet each other in the receiving line or reception anyways. Don't worry about explaining remarried names as well, just simply list them. Your guests will likely not be too concerned with the reasons why the names are different etc.

Hi.  I am a church secretary and have done many wedding programs.  Here is how I would do it.  Note:  As with everything "wedding," the bride's name comes first, so I would list YOUR mother's name first when it comes to the parents.  I am assuming that you also want to list the step-parents.  Here is an example:

PARENTS OF THE BRIDE:

Susan and Ronald Johnson

Paul and Lisa Smith

PARENTS OF THE GROOM:

The late Lois Taylor

Rick and Vicky Taylor

GRANDPARENTS OF THE BRIDE:

List names

GRANDPARENTS OF THE GROOM:

List names

SPECIAL GUESTS OF HONOR:

List the aunts names.

I really like when I go to a wedding that has a program that lists the family and attendants.  I especially like when they put in

Maid of Honor - Sally Jones - bride's best friend

Matron of Honor - Kim Smith - bride's aunt

When you don't know everyone in the wedding party, it's nice to have something to refer to.
