Wedding photographers?

I would like to know if you are a wedding photographer and what was your worst experience shooting a wedding.

Should I consider this as a profession?

It's very stressful.  You have to be highly organized and pay careful attention to who people are so you'll get lots of pictures of the important family members.

I was an assistant one time. It was a 2nd marriag, both were older and widowed.  They wanted all the grandkids in it.  The 2 and 3 yr olds were running crazy.  One ran into a flag pole knocking it over!  I dove for it and caught it about 1 ft from the top of the pastors head!  If I hadn't it would have knocked him cold before he even got to the vows.  Needless to say, I didn't get many pictures either.

It's a great profession.  You are involved in the most important events in a person's life.  But that is both a positive and a negative b/c they want perfection.  They expect a lot of quality time together and they are highly stressed.
