Question:

Wedding programs...?

I had asked my brother's children to be my program attendants at my wedding. He's going through a very messy divorce right now and my wedding falls on his (soon to be X) wife's weekend. He does not want to ask her if he can have the children on HER weekend. (she's sort of a nut job) I'm OK with my niece and nephews not being there, but the programs have already been printed with thier names. I'm planning to ask the three girls who will unroll my aisle runner if they would also hand out programs. Should I actually have these programs reprinted? They were quite expensive...all hand tied.

  1. another option would be to just place them @ the church entrance in a backet. people can just grab them on there way in or out. this way you do not have to reprint them to list the name of who was to hand them out.

  2. I don't think a reprint is necessary, if anyone asks you can just say "so and so" were unable to make it.

  3. I wouldn't reprint them.  It is not a huge change (not like you changed out the whole bridal party or anything).  Just go with what you have, most people, in your mfamily anyway, will be aware of the situation and any that don't know them will likely not know the difference anyway.

  4. I wouldn't change them, it's not *that* big of a deal for that part to be messed up.
