If you don't have a budget, it's best that you make one.  Weddings can range anywhere from a few bucks for a justice of the piece, a couple hundred for shopping thrifty and 2nd hands, $10,000 for a very nice wedding, or $50,000 on up for an elaborate bash.  It is all depending on what you want.

My wedding cost about 20,000.  It was beautiful but also in Texas... so maybe somewhere between 40-45,000 in Miami?

30,000 is about the average.... depend on the people (my guess is based on 150).  You can do it for less- we are in Philly and we did it for about 20,000 and some change for 113 people.

Well, I would say in Miami you can have a very nice wedding for about $75,000.  That would be my estimate.

how many people?  How elaborate do you want it? etc...so many factors.  I would go to www.theknot.com and start looking at flower prices, tux rental etc. to get an idea.  Then creat a budget from there.  The same site also has a budgeter to help you.  It usually asks you to start with your budget then tells you how much you should spend on which item. (based on the average percentage of budget things normally run)  When you remove an item it re-adjusts the rest.
