Wedding reception in garden?

My friend is getting married and wants her reception to be held in her own garden. Trouble is her garden is a bit drab and plantless. Is there such a thing as a company who will go in and loan you plants especially for the big day? Someone who will 'dress' your garden and collect the plants after the event?

Call a landscaper, or florists and just ask. They will charge her a fee but I bet they can make it look great!!! good Luck and congrats.

Definitely! I would google plant/garden rentals. You can rent all kinds of plants and flowers for special occastions!

post that on craigs list to see who can donate or loan potten plants!

ofocurse that is possible. you wouldnt believe it but people do crazier things for weddings.

I know this service exists in our area (Detroit, MI).  The company is called Planterra and they rent plants and other decor for weddings, events, trade shows, etc.  Try googling it or checking with local florists/garden shops.
